The 58th edition of the ‘Salone del Mobile Milano’ held in early April produced once again an extremely positive result.

Held between the 9th and 14th April 2019, the show attracted more than 386,236 visitors in 6 days from 181 different countries which was an increase of 12% compared with the 2017 show which also featured the bi-annual ‘Euroluce’ lighting and ‘Workplace’ office furniture sector events

According to the organizers, this reconfirmed that the Salone with 2,418 exhibitors, 34% from 43 other countries, was indeed the world largest and most important international furniture fair with 69% of visitors hailing from counties other than Italy.

BFM members exhibiting were Ercol and Duresta and Gascoigne Designs. Also exhibiting from the UK, with TAP government funding, were Bert Frank, Thomas Blakemore, Oxley’s Furniture, JF Lemay and CTO Lighting, Studio Furthermore and Michael Anastassiades.

As a Trade Challenge Partner BFM offered support to all these companies and secured and administered the TAP funding, worth £1,500 per eligible company.
