British Furniture Manufacturers’ (BFM) pioneering component trade show has been given a seal of approval after Vita Group, BeA Group and Carpenter Limited all renewed sponsorship of the event for 2025.
Building on the success of its inaugural Furniture Component Expo (FCE) BFM is already planning the next instalment which takes place at Telford International Centre in March next year.
The one-stop-shop expo allows manufacturers to review and purchase products across the whole furniture supply chain from leading suppliers.
A first for the industry, the initial event, held in April, provided opportunities for delegates to explore products, network, gain industry insights and more.
BFM MD Phil Spademan said: “FCE is all about backing British furniture manufacturing and it was made possible through the support of our headline sponsors Vita Group and BeA Group along with registration sponsor Carpenter Limited.
“We are delighted that they have recognised the value that FCE brought to the industry and have confirmed their support for next year’s event.”
FCE was the first show of its kind in the UK, bringing specific focus to the supply side of the furniture industry and designed to meet the needs of large and small makers of furniture including beds, mattresses, cabinet and upholstery.
Delegates were able to browse product ranges and talk to suppliers as well as network and collaborate with colleagues.
Audiences at the seminar theatre engaged in a range of interesting industry discussions such as Automation vs Skills and the proposed fire safety regulations.
Phil added: “We’ve had positive responses from visitors and exhibitors across the furniture manufacturing and supply chain sectors, and we’re delighted that the Expo has been so well received.
“With 60% of the floorplan already sold for 2025, we encourage people to make an enquiry now to avoid disappointment. All aspects of the furniture supply chain are welcome, including fabric suppliers, large or small machinery, kitchen and cabinet component manufacturers.
“There are new sponsorship opportunities for companies to elevate their brand visibility and seminar slots to engage directly with a buying audience.”
The event returns to Telford International Centre on 19 and 20 March. More information about exhibiting and sponsorship can be found at: fcexpo.co.uk
